Community Guidelines
Last updated August 2026
These guidelines apply to all content and activity on Wren. By creating an account, you agree to follow them. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, suspension, or account termination.
Wren is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.
Posting
- Firsthand accounts only. Post what you experienced or directly witnessed. Secondhand information must be identified as such. Do not post rumors as firsthand experience.
- No false or fabricated accusations. Fabricating or knowingly exaggerating an accusation results in account termination.
- No private information. Do not post home addresses, phone numbers, contact information, license plates, workplaces, or other identifying details about any person. Describing an incident location is permitted; publishing where a person lives is not.
- No content involving minors. Do not post photos of minors or information that identifies a minor.
- No nudity, sexual content, gore, or shock imagery. Evidence screenshots are permitted; explicit content is not.
- On-topic content only. Wren is for safety warnings, tips, and questions. Venting, promotion, selling, and off-topic content are not permitted.
- Accurate tags. Use "Just Happened" only for real, recent incidents. It can send notifications to nearby members.
Comments and bumps
- Comments are for corroboration, context, questions, and support.
- Harassing, bullying, or targeting another member is prohibited.
- Bump a post to support it. Downbump a post to flag that something is not right.
- Report content that violates these guidelines instead of engaging with it.
Reporting and moderation
Any post or comment can be reported anonymously. A human reviews every report within 24 hours; reports never remove content automatically.
Moderation may leave content up, remove content, or warn, suspend, or terminate accounts. Wren does not reveal who reported, bumped, or blocked.
Wren has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or targeting content is removed. Repeat or severe violations result in account termination.
Zero-tolerance violations
The following result in immediate account termination on first offense:
- Doxxing with malicious intent
- Credible threats of violence
- Sharing intimate images of any person without consent
- Fabricated accusations
