This Privacy Policy describes how Wren Studio Inc. ("Wren," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information. It applies to the Wren iOS app and the joinwren.app website.
You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We receive your name and email address (or a private relay address if you use Apple's Hide My Email) and an Apple account identifier used to authenticate you. In the app you are represented by a generated handle and avatar; your name and email address are not displayed to other members.
We store the posts, comments, bumps, drafts, and photos you submit. Embedded metadata, including location data, is removed from photos before upload.
Location access is optional and controlled through iOS permissions:
Location attached to a post is the location you tag on that post. We do not maintain location histories.
We collect app usage analytics (screens and features used, device model, iOS version) and crash reports (device information and technical error data). If you enable notifications, we store a push token.
If you contact us, we retain the correspondence.
We use this information to operate and maintain the service: authenticate your account, display content and the map, deliver notifications you have enabled, review reports and enforce community rules, diagnose and fix errors, and analyze usage of the app.
We do not sell personal information. We do not serve ads or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not track you across third-party apps or websites.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wren, our members, or the public.
Data is stored on servers located in the United States.
We retain information while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time in the app's Settings. On deletion, your account, posts, comments, bumps, and photos are removed from our systems; residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days. Aggregated analytics and crash data that does not identify you may be retained.
Data is encrypted in transit and internal access to member data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
California law gives you the right to know the personal information a business collects about you and to request its deletion. The information we collect is described in this policy. You may delete your account in the app's Settings or submit a request by email. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide notice in the app before it takes effect.
